Keeping Up with the Joneses

Well, it is yet another Monday morning (near noon) that I have spent catching up on the world left behind for the weekend. My reader inbox is overflowing at around 200 articles (in part thanks to Google’s inability to distinguish duplicate posts). I have to sift through my new twitter followers (4 this weekend). Then there is email. The pile of “business” emails that leave unread over the weekend have not found a way to solve themselves. In the midst of all that is, well actual work, including going through check lists and planning out the rest of the week. Then is the follow ups. Emails, voicemails, LinkedIn messages and so on.

This is my Monday morning. And what is always looming over head is the my blog posts. Honestly, I don’t know how people do it. Because Tuesday really isn’t that much better. Weekends are for family and lately work has been started back up after dinner and intermittent glances at a hockey game. Free time is limited, and as a once proud writer (you can see where I stopped at ) I can’t fathom spitting out a post with ranting disregard, and so it is that I let time pass and let the blog grow a soft fuzzy moss covering. The hope to keep up with the consistency of bloggers I admire and/or read will apparently have to wait until I can overcome this pseudo writer’s block and just let the words fall where they may.

Here’s to trying to be more frequent and keeping up with the Joneses.

blogs, day to day operations, mondays, office, solo
